Nintendo Direct has given us the first official look at the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 portable gaming console. Though the basic elements remain the same for easy to learn play, the reveal video shares several new or improved features. Some of the features include: a longer/more supportive kickstand, side loading attachment for Joy-Cons (rather than sliding), larger Joy-Con release buttons, and a larger console screen. Not much else has been revealed about the new console, but Nintendo has shared that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be released in 2025. Watch the “Nintendo Switch 2 – First-look trailer” by CLICKING HERE.
The Nintendo Switch 2 will have console exclusive games, as well as offer back play for both physical and digital Nintendo Switch games. Certain Nintendo Switch games may not be supported on or fully compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Details will be shared by Nintendo at a later date. We will share more details as they emerge.

Nintendo will also hold Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events, where consumers can go hands-on with the new console in cities around the world!
